Review of the night:

We had the privilege of hosting Carla Maney, accompanied by Gary Branch on piano at St. John's Hall Penhow on August 18th. Carla's diverse experience in opera, oratorio, and light entertainment was evident in her captivating performance. Her voice effortlessly navigated the classics, evoking genuine emotions in every note. From poignant ballads to powerful crescendos, Carla's vocal range was astonishing. The intimate setting enhanced the connection between performer and audience, and Carla, along with Gary Branch on piano, created a dynamic and enchanting atmosphere. Their synergy was palpable, adding an extra layer of depth to the performance. Gary’s piano prowess was nothing short of remarkable, infusing Carla’s performance with an extra layer of depth and brilliance.
